An Intergenerational Celebration of Music, Dance & Tradition
Featuring Arvel Bird, Kate Rose & Armand Ramirez
Celebrate the harvest season with an afternoon of exceptional music, storytelling, and shared tradition at Wild Heart Flower Farm. Inspired by the ancient Celtic harvest festivals, Harvest Home honors the changing of the seasons, our connection to the land, and the joy of gathering across generations through music and dance.
The concert features acclaimed violinist Arvel Bird, whose distinctive Celtic Indianstyle reflects his Native American and Scottish heritage. A classically trained musician and former touring violinist with Glen Campbell, Arvel is celebrated for performances that blend technical brilliance with heartfelt storytelling.
Joining him are Irish fiddler Dr. Kate Rose and guitarist Armand Ramirez. Kate learned traditional fiddle music among farming communities in rural County Clare, Ireland, where music, the land, and community life remain deeply intertwined. Her work explores how people carry traditions into new landscapes, weaving together Irish and Southwestern musical histories. Together with Armand's roots in Hispanic musical traditions, the trio creates a rich conversation between cultures grounded in place, memory, and community.
The afternoon includes inspiring performances, stories behind the music, and simple community dances that everyone can enjoy, whether you choose to dance or simply listen.
Wild Heart Flower Farm is dedicated to cultivating beauty, sustainability, and meaningful connections through flowers, the seasons, and community gatherings. This land is the perfect setting to celebrate the abundance of the harvest and the living traditions that continue to bring people together.
