Natural Garden Education, Design, & CSA Offerings.

Rooted in nature, designed to nurture.

We’re known for

our Flowers

Flowers expert a quiet power over people–-especially women. Flowers invite us to stop and admire their beauty to inhale their scent, to touch, and even taste them. They inspire awe, and wonder, elevate our mood and fill us with a sense of well being. Best of all, flowers ground us to Mother Earth.

Flowers celebrate, soothe and cure our hearts whether they are full, broken, empty or healing. They honor big changes, big or small yet meaningful moments, love and friendship. Our favorite answer to anything that ails you in body or spirit — “We have a flower for that!”

Where to Find our flowers

Weekly flower bunches are available at Rimrock Coffee Shop, and our monthly and holiday bouquet offerings are available by pre-order online in the farm shop. Visit our events page for U-pick and other opportunities to play with flowers.

Our Philosophy

Our approach to garden design is rooted in years of ecological study and deep appreciation of wild landscapes. These places thrive without the tending of humans. We look for inspiration in the patterns from nature and apply them to backyard landscapes with a permaculture lens. This process involves a series of thoughtful, purposeful interventions that begin with observation (ours and yours).

We are on a mission to change our relationship with our landscapes and stitch together a quilt of backyard habitat that conserves water, captures and stores carbon and sustains biodiversity, including wildlife, pollinators, insects and songbirds.
We partner with you to cultivate a positive relationship with your garden space, your neighborhood and empower you to be an attentive and joyful participant in your landscape.

We choose plants that thrive in the desert environment of Arizona’s Verde Valley so you can live in harmony with the local ecology and let your garden be wild.

Basic Steps to an Ecological Garden

  • Bring the soil to life

  • Discourage weeds naturally

  • Make peace with pests - encourage beneficial insects

  • Convert lawns or gravel areas to native grassland/wildflower patches

  • Plant biodiversity

Knowing that you love the earth changes you, activates you to defend and protect and celebrate. But when you feel that the earth loves you in return, that feeling transforms the relationship from a one-way street into a sacred bond.

Flower & Poetry Bouquet

Wild Heart CSA subscriptions offer a fresh flower bouquet weekly or monthly that express the seasonal cycle of the farm. The ephemeral nature of life is best expressed with the pairing of flowers and poetry. When you purchase a Flower Poetry Bouquet subscription you live through the seasons on our farm with flowers and words.

We gather the best of what is in bloom in our gardens to create a one-of-a-kind arrangement.

Why join the CSA?

As a CSA member, you become part of our farm-ily—providing the financial and moral support at the beginning of the season.

Flower Power Testimonials

“I have enjoyed being a CSA member of yours, and the share has been so much more than just a share. It’s been a vein of consciousness, placed at the exact perfect moments when I’ve needed it the most, including being a deep bonding experience with my daughter.”

— Katie

“I received a bouquet of yours from my neighbor to help me celebrate my wife, who passed last August just two months short of her 94th birthday.  She and I had been together for over 41 years. In the bouquet were pussy willows which have been special to me since I was a child. I’m grateful for your help in honoring her and hope, one day to drop by and meet you.”
