Wild Wednesday

  • Wild Heart Farm 4035 N Tonto Way Rimrock, AZ 86335 (map)

Gathering flowers and herbs is a community activity.

A Women's Garden Guild
Wednesday Mornings | 8:30–11:30
Ongoing

Join us for a weekly gathering for women to learn regenerative gardening practices and co-create healing spaces on the farm.

Together we will:

  • Design and plant permaculture guilds

  • Practice desert-adapted regenerative gardening

  • Build community and share in the abundance of the land

  • Help cultivate the Mother Garden — a space of rest, remembrance, and regeneration for the community

During each gathering, we'll pause for tea and a snack together, and weave in a rotating hands-on activity.

This is a recurring community anchor that will follow the rhythm of the summer season: native plants, pollinators, herbalism, and seed saving. One acre is too much for one person, one family, or one team to tend and enjoy alone. Together, we'll grow our skills — and our sense of belonging — around living and gardening in this place.

Who is this for?

  • Those who are new to the Verde Valley and/or find it hard to grow a garden in the desert climate

  • Those looking to meet like-minded women and build community

  • Those without a garden of their own who miss tending the land

  • Those who want to learn about perennial gardening, native plants, and medicinal herbs

There's no obligation to come every week. Come as you are.

This is our Wild Heart Women’s Garden Guild. We laugh and cry and sing and plant together.

This is a donation-based offering. Your time and presence are a gift, and you'll receive in return. If you're able, you can support the ongoing care of the Mother Garden with a donation to our GoFundMe: Help Build a Healing Garden for Mothers.
